This is a series of 4 variations on a theme. They are all geometric in nature and use the same fabric collection.I just cut too much for one, two or three quilts! Echo consists of a 12" block with a 2" finished sashing.
56"by 70"with a 5 3/4" border of one of the black & red fabrics.
We used 3 coordinating black&red fabrics and 2 coordinating red ones, one of which we used in the sashing as well. The backing is the same as the wide border fabric.
It was digitally quilted with a continuous design in the body of the quilt.
The borders are quilted with the same design with no mitered corners.
This "collision"Style border is often used with busy prints. You can hardly tell where it meets in the corners.
Border quilted separately adds interest to the quilting design.
