Bedazzle is a blended geometric quilt with the illusion of being set on the point.
We used batik for the back as well.
We blended seven colours from dark to light to make the design really stand out.
You will need to map your colours for this one. The narrow border is a contrast not found anywhere in the quilt. This avoids the issue of the center of the quilt running visually into the border. The wide border can be any one of the fabrics found in the quilt.
High contrast fabrics will give you a more vibrant quilt and low contrast will give you more of a blended look.
It is easier to keep track of your block colours if you cut a small piece of each one and tape it to the piecing diagram.
